They are legal because the government figured out how to tax them and I bet as soon as they figure out how to tax pot they will consider legalizing it because then they would be making money off of it, it all has to do with the all mighty dollar!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Because tobacco and alcohol got there first and government figured out how to tax them!. Alcohol had a nice angle with Religion, so they couldn't completely ban it, even during prohibition!.
That's pretty much it!. Pot got lumped in with much harder and more dangerous drugs and that's where they sit!. Bureaucratic inertia being what it is, you'd have to get a huge amount of support from people to make pot legal, and most people just don't care that much!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
