You should try Montes Cabernet/Merlot!. They have many wines in various price ranges!. also, try Casa Lapostolle Merlot or Syrah!. Veramonte also has a couple of good wines: the Pinot Noir and Primus!. You should also explore the Argentinian reds (Malbec is the popular grape)!. South American wines can be delicious and very affordable!. Enjoy!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I think Casillero is a cab/carmenere blend!. Cousino Macul makes a nice mid-priced 100% cabernet!. If you want to spend a little more try 2005 Concha y Toro Don Melchor cabernet!. The best of high end Chilean wines in my opinion is Clos Apalta!. It's made by Casa Lapostolle!. It's a blend of merlot, petite verdot, carmenere and cabernet!.

Please try Cono Sur,Santa Rita,Casa Marin!. The whites I like are the Cono Sur Viognier,Santa Rita Sauvignon Blanc,Casa Marin Sauvignon Blanc!.As far as reds go,I think you will enjoy the Santa Rita Carmenere,Santa Rita Cabernet is wonderful also!.I would like to add I don't think Chile makes a bad wine-it has near perfect climate and geography for it!. I hope you enjoy these recommendations!Www@FoodAQ@Com
