It took about 10 years of drinking until I was finally able to drink beer!.!.!. and now I love it! So be patient!! Cheap beer (bud, mich!. miller, etc!.) is still awful tasting to me!. I started drinking guinness and other very dark beers (stouts and porters) at first!.
My best advice is to go to a bar or brewery that offers a beer sampler!. You get to choose 5 or 6 diff!. beers and get a little of each one!. Try different types! Dark beers, wheat beers, red beers etc!. Once you find a type that is the tastiest to you explore that genre more!.
I agree with the person that said Blue Moon, it's my fall back beer and I've found many people who "don't like beer" can drink it!.
Just keep trying different things until you find something that works for you!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Well, that would depend on what it is about beer you don't like!. Bud, Miller and Coors are fairly bland and unoffensive, so if you don't like them, you may find other beers to be hard to enjoy!. However, I firmly believe there is a beer out there for everyone!.
There are a variety of fruit beers out there that appeal to people who aren't too into beer!. Sam Adams Cherry Wheat is pretty widely available!.
If you like chocolate, I'd recommend a Chocolate Stout (Young's makes one that can be found almost anywhere)!.
Right now it is Oktoberfest season, so you can find plenty of Oktoberfest beers on the shelves!. These beers are a little more full and sweet than a "normal" beer, so it can be enjoyable for a beer novice!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I drink to get drunk most of the time myself!. Beer works best eventually, when you drink enough to get a taste for it!. I started off with cider though!.!. Hornsby is my favorite brand!.
For beer, stay away from light beers, even though the less calories/maybe taste!. The hangover you get is ten times worse! + they put too many additives in light beer!. Like smokes, they don't have to label the ingredients for a reason!.
Budweiser is the best choice, it has a bad reputation because for beer drinkers!.!.its crap!. Budweiser is not cheap though, its just designed for the non beer drinker!. You can drink a lot of it and not have it upset your stomach!. It has a light flavor (sorta sweet, but you only notice that if your experienced)!. + it has a born on date, you can always make sure its fresh!. Other beers along those lines include Rolling Rock, Nattie Bow(even though I don't like nattie bow)!. That's about it off the top of my head!. But if your just trying to drink one or two beers and have them taste good!.!.!. Killians Irish red(Very sweet), maybe honey brown, or perhaps guiness!. don't count this one but I like stella artrois!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I'm guessing the beers you've had aren't that good quality, and that the flavor you don't have a taste for is the hop bitterness!.
So, I'm thinking Newcastle Brown Ale!. Not bitter, and is a well made beer!. Good for a newbie!. I've had a few friends who thought they liked Coors and that stuff try Newcastle and then they realized their sin!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You don't say what it is that you don't like about beer !. !. !.
Some people don't like the bitterness of some beers like English Bitter or US Pale Ale & IPA, so go for the less bitter varieties, these can still be good craft-brewed beers - lagers, some golden ales, hybrid beers like Kolsch, Steam Beer, etc!.
If it's the gassiness, you could go for a UK-style cask-conditioned beer, which is served with natural carbonation only, but (if you're in the US this might be hard to find - check out top beer bars & brewpubs)
If it's the roasty bitter flavours of some dark beers, go towards the light!
As people keep saying, try until you find one you like, but keep trying - there's a world of flavour out there!.
Again, as many are saying, wheat beers (incl!. "hefe" - hefeweizen - unfiltered German style wheat beer) are less bitter, more fruity & easy drinking, while still being interesting, complex & damn good beer!. One of my favourites is Schneider, from Kelheim, Bavaria, but many US craft-brewers make a good wheat beer in various styles!.
Likewise Belgian wheat beers are good too - Blue Moon, Hoegaarden, etc!.
Keep trying, your tastebuds will thank you eventually!Www@FoodAQ@Com

How many different beer styles have you tried!? There's around 100 different unique styles of beer and most people who claim not to like beer have only tried a few of them!. Bud, Miller, Coors, Corona, Heineken, Stella, and the like all fall under the same general style!.
My advice is if you have an local microbreweries nearby to hit up a couple for brewery tours!. They often will give you free samples of various styles of beer and you might find one you like!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Why not drink something else if you don't care for beer!. Even if you find one you can drink it may be too obscure a brand to find in most social situations!. Have a glass of wine or one of the other malt based beverages like a Baccardi Breezer, or Mike's Hard Lemonade!. There is a lot more out there then beer!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
im not very fond of beer either!.!.!.depends if you'd prefer dark or light beer too!. I'm okay drinking Hefs once in a while but wat i really like is fruit beer!. They have it at BJ's, reallly good there! thats probably the only kind of beer i'll drink!. i usually do cocktails or like vodka and cranberry or something!. malibu rum and coke is AWESOME too (: u don't alwaysh ave to drink beer!.!.just drink wat tastes good to you~Www@FoodAQ@Com
I don't really like the taste of most beers but Corona is really smooth, especially good with a lime wedge!.
There is also a Michelobe Ultra Lime Cactus beer that is really good!. It's smooth with a little sweetness to it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Leinenkugel (sp!?) Berryweiss is the best for people like you!. It's great beer and it tastes more like a wine cooler than your average ale!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
