Why do they drink red wine?!
I know this might sound strange, but from my experience the homeless really enjoy red wine and its their beverage of choice when they panhandle enough money to make a purchase!. But why!? Why not get a cheap bottle of vodka or gin or any other liquor!? Why not white wine!? What are the thoughts behind this!? Www@FoodAQ@Com

I think red wine helps with health issues!. Not homelessness or houselessness!. but it helps with their health!. i think it's like an insulation device!. cuz it gets cold outside during the hours of 2am-5am, believe me, my friend "katye" knows all about it, soon Www@FoodAQ@Com
Maybe you're seeing them drink MD 20/20 or Thunderbird!. They're fortified wines (higher alcohol) and very cheap, so it would be easier to buy!. MD used to come in a very red version, but has since expanded to a whole range of day-glo colors!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
Unfortunately most homeless people were not always homeless, and drinking red wine at the dinner table was always acceptable in society!. It must be a way of making them feel human!. Great question though!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Most of the homeless I've seen drink cheap sherry, white cider or super strength lager, saying that with red wine at ￡3 a bottle or so !.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
I've never seen a homeless person drink anything I would call wine, red or white!. It's usually the cheapest thing that will get the job done!. Like Mad Dog 20/20 or Boons Farm!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
