What does Old World/New World Wines mean?!

Question: What does Old World/New World Wines mean!?
Answers:
One of your answerers was close!. Old World is the nexus of France, Germany, and Italy

New World is USA, Australia, South America, South Africa, and Canada

Some do consider parts of Eastern Europe to be New World, only in that their wine industry is relatively young after years of neglect during the Cold War!.

The other definition is grape origin, countries where the grape actually began would be Old World, see above countries!. And New World is were immigrant replanted the grapes, see above!.

Hope this helps!.
