Alcohol will freeze!. All chemical compounds have their own freezing point as well as their own boiling point!.
Ethanol, the alcohol we drink, freezes at a much lower temperature tha water!. The bottles of liqour we buy are a combination of ethanol, water and lots of other flavor compunds!. The presence of non-water compounds depresses the freezing point of the solution!.
If you are interest in a fun experiment, put 3 bottles of water, 3 cans of beer, and three bottles of spirits (anything over 80 proof, vodka, gin, whiskey) in the freezer!. Check each of them every 12 hours, Open one bottle of each every time you check!.
The water will freeze first!. The beer next (3!.5% alcohol) And the vodka will probably not freeze unless you have a really cold freezer!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Alcohol does freeze; however, it's freezing point is at -117 celcius as appose to 0 for water!.

The main reason is bonding of the hydrogen atoms inside water!. This causes the molecules to attract to one another to a greater extent and thus are easier to 'freeze'!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
