Good Wine To Start With White Zinfandel?!

Question: Good Wine To Start With White Zinfandel!?
I'm having my own little personal Halloween party, I plan on watching rocky horror than feast 1 and 2 and maybe dawn of the dead!. I want to have something to drink while I'm watching the movies!. I was thinking of getting this wine because in previous posts some said that this was a sweet wine!. And its my first time truly drinking wine too!.

So is this good to start with or should I just get some vodka and juice and mix together!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
ok!.!.!. depends, you want to get drunk or have a good tasteful wine!?

you sound like you want a wine, i would go with a Riesling, Muscat, or gewurztraminer if you want a sweeter white wine!.

if you just want to get drunk, which it sounds like when you mention just doing vodka and juice!.!.!. do that!.!.!. it will be cheaper and easier, since most wines are around 10-20% alcohol, and vodka is usually 40%Www@FoodAQ@Com

If your not really used to drinking wine then i guess this is a good starting point!. The great thing about white Zin is that you can just pop it in the fridge and everyone will like it!. It does have a sweet taste to it!. If you wanted to get into wine tasting a little more though i would suggest a different wine!. However this one would be great for a fun easy all rounder! Enjoy!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Wine is fine, but don't buy White Zin!.

Try Riesling and look for Auslese on the label, it'll be sweet!.
Try Voignier, Muscat, Vourvay, Chenin Blanc, Vidal Blac or Sauternes

Go to any nice liquor store and ask the clerkWww@FoodAQ@Com
