I hate the idea of cutting good wine with grape juice or sprite!. I'd suggest you try pairing the wine with a good cheese!. Cheese has a way of balancing strong wine flavours; even regular old cheddar will make a sharp wine taste smoother!.

You can sweeten any wine with sugar!. It is best to mix sugar with water first!.

You will probably want to mix sugar with warm water to the point that all of the sugar is not dissolving and then start adding it to the bottle!. You can add it until you like it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It's bitter because it's a European wine!. Guess next time you should get an American wine!. Those are the sweet ones - European wines are richer!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
