Question: Why am I only able to drink whiskey!?

maybe you can only tolerate grain-based ethanol!. i assume you can tolerate beer!. vodka, tequila, and other spirits are made from other sources like potatoes, agave, and other substances respectively!.

It probably relates to a phenomenon called "learned taste aversion!." When we get sick after experiencing a particular flavor, our body starts to reject that flavor!. We get nauseous when we taste or smell it so we don't swallow!. It's evolutionarily adaptive!.!.!. keeps us from eating all the various poisons found in nature!. Maybe you got sick on vodka or tequila one of the early times you drank them!. The result is that you get sick every time you drink them!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Some mental block!. Alcohol is alcohol!. Maybe it's a matter of the mixer you are using with the others!. Vodka is the most neutral of those!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
