Answers:
Actually, the liquor industry has fought against it

56 calories in a shot (1 1/2 ounces) of rumWww@FoodAQ@Com

It should have calories per ounce on the bottle, I agree!.

Check here:

It goes by proofWww@FoodAQ@Com

lol, bcuz there's no nutrition in them!. Although I think the calorie content depends on the proof!. An 80 proof shot of vodka has 64 calories, I would think rum would fall somewhere around that as well!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Take a look at this link:
http://www!.liquorlive!.com/drinks!.php!?opt!.!.!.

It has a calorie break down of straight spirits based on proof in the top left!. Hope this helps!Www@FoodAQ@Com

you might wonder why!.!. because if you put some nutrition facts on it people might think that its okay to get drunk with it because it has nutrition facts with it!. however its dangerous to get drunk!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

ive heard by many people a shot is the same calories as 1 beer so around 110 caloriesWww@FoodAQ@Com

A great site for this info is iVillage- they have an Alcohol Calorie CounterWww@FoodAQ@Com

there isn't much nutrition for them to discuss about 60 caloriesWww@FoodAQ@Com

If you are drinking alcohol, you obviously are not concerned with health in the first place!. C'mon!Www@FoodAQ@Com
