Which brand of Merlot wine is the best to buy at Kroger's?!
I shop at the Kroger's in Hurst, Tx!. They have a whole aisle full of wines (must have thousands) but almost every bottle is a different brand!. Which is the best brand!? I am looking to buy a Merlot but know nothing about wines!. Thanks!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Most Krogers will have a wine specialist who can give you some advice on what might appeal to you and best meet your need!. For example, you don't need one of the expensive ones if you're just going to use it to cook with!. Or if you want one to go best with lamb, or steak, or with appetizers at a cocktail party, etc!.
You can also get an idea from price and reading the labels, to see what sounds appealing to you (for example, if you want a nice wine to drink with a special dinner, don't get the cheap wine, or wine-in-a-box!.!. doesn't have to be super pricey either, just "cheap" is a warning flag)!. We have a store that sells all Kroger brand foods, and they sell a ton of wine!. However, all Merlot tastes the same (to me)!. Try the least expensive one first, and then if you don't like it try a different brand!.!.!.and even if you get a suggestion on here, you might not like it!.
