Weed a gateway drug? But alcohol not?!
The way I see this if weed is getting all this bad press about being a gateway drug then why is alcohol classed as one!. Of corse weed is a gateway drug thats just ridiculous to say because who in the right mind starts at heroin!. In fact I believe that alcohol is more of a gateway drug as it introduces you to a whole different world of drugs when your out in town, I did my first pill when drinkin!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

There is ABSOLUTELY no evidence to support marijuana as an addictive substance, nor any that would indicate that it leads to heavier (more damaging and addictive) drug use!.
The problem with alcohol is that it inhibits your ability to make decisions by affecting the brain's frontal lobes more dramatically than almost any other substance!. Thus we tend to make poor decisions or incorrect decisions when drunk!.
Marijuana affects the hippocampus, which is involved with memory formation (short term only, your long term memory is stored in another part of the brain (or parts)), leaving us fully able to make decisions effectively, even under its influence!.
Of course, I do not advocate "smoking" marijuana, as the smoke is fairly hazardous to your health (any smoke is bad for your body)!. You are better off to get the THC from marijuana either by eating it, vapourizing it (in a vapourizer), or drinking it (making tea, coffee, etc!.)!.

The trouble is with weed is that it's illegality makes it a gateway drug!. Let me explain!. You are introduced by mates to someone who can get you some weed!. So you get it from them and so you end up enjoying it!. So they then go, well why dont you try a lil bit of this then!. Hey presto, you end up with a liking for cocaine and so on!.

Both are gateway drugs!.!.!. the difference is that alcohol is legal and weed is not!. Weed, to some, feels more rebellious therefore opens the door to other illegal drugs b/c they no longer seem as bad!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
