If I have a dinner party, what wines should I purchase? I don't drink wine, so no clue!?!
Answers:
Everyone that drinks wine likes something different, basically what one person likes doesn't by any means mean someone else will like it!. I work in a winery for two years and when we would have dinners we would have a red and a white!. We learned that merlot drinkers GENERALLY liked a cabernet also, but people that liked cabs didn't like merlot!.!.!.!.!.!.!.GENERALLY!. I personally think you can't go wrong with a cabernet and a chardonnay or you may want to try a chardonnay pinot grigio blend!. The chardonnay blend is slightly sweeter and may be very good with what you are cooking!. also if the people you are having over are not big wino's then you can't go wrong with a Blush, it can go with any food and is a good sweet wine!
Reasonably priced wines
Robert mondavi
berenger
Llano Estacado
Cap*rock Winery

Hope this helps!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Well, if you don't drink wine, do you know if your guests like white or red!?
Usually a cabernet is a safe bet (that's a red) This sounds silly, but my hubby and I have picked wines that have labels we like if we want to try something new!.
If you are going to buy white, go with a chardonnay!.
If you need to know a brand, Yellow Tail has good whites and reds!. There is another one that is 'something Fish' - I can't remember the name of it but there is a fish on the label!. Robert Mondavi is also a great wine and this brand really ranges in price but they are all good
Remember - just because it costs more doesn't mean it tastes better so don't just go based on price!.
One last thing - some people think it's still a rule that if you are serving fish or pasta then you serve white but if you are serving red meat to serve red wine but that rule went out the window a long time ago!Www@FoodAQ@Com
