its just because it isnt from a large scale brewery, like miller or budweiser!. many bars consider beers like yuengling, sam adams, anchor, etc to be imports, just so they can put them in the same list as real imports, which nearly always cost more!. so to summarize, its just because they cost the same as real imports and it makes things easier to just call it an import Www@FoodAQ@Com
hmmm never heard that!.!.!.but yuengling is definitely brewed in PA!.!.!.i live about an hour or so from the brewery and have been on the tour numerous times!.!.!.its a really cool tour if your ever in the area definitely check it out its worth it!.!.!.its a free tour and you get to sample about 10 different brews once the tour is overWww@FoodAQ@Com
It is a domestic beer!.!.!. its not that popular of a beer and some states don't even sell it!.!.!. the bars around here we consider it a domestic and charge the domestic price!. alot of bars that don't have many customers buying it sell it as an import to make more money!.!.!.!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
these folks don't know their history, nor do they try to learn!

I've seen it as "Premium Domestic" and "Microbrew", but never "Import"!.
I'm guessing they're too lazy to add extra lists, so they toss Yuengling in with the imports so they can charge extra for it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
