Silver Oak Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
This exquisite wine displays a dark garnet color and aromas of black plum, cassis, rose petals, nutmeg and sandalwood!. The palate offers a wonderful progression of flavors – from berry to tobacco to dark chocolate, culminating in an extraordinarily long finish reminiscent of a dark chocolate truffle filled with berry liqueur!. Properly cellared, it should provide drinking pleasure until 2028!.(About $100)Www@FoodAQ@Com

The complexity of a French Bordeaux is always a good accompaniment to top quality, well-prepared beef!. Bordeaux is traditionally a Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot/Malbec blend of varying proportions by year and vineyard!.
American vineyards have been producing "Bordeaux style" wines for years now!. Try searching that phrase, too, and you'll find good US options, too!.
Whether French or US, $40 to $100 a bottle will yield outstanding results - best technique is to go to a decent wine shop and ask someone their recommendations!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
