Where are these cigars from?!
I've found a packet of old cigars or cigarellos branded Rio 6 Longo, in a big red and white pack!. Wondering if anyone has heard of them, how old they are, where they are from!? ThanksWww@FoodAQ@Com
Answers:
Not very old
Villiger is a Swiss manufacturer of dry cured cigars!. The Rio 6 frontmark is found in Europe and mainly in the UK - because they have Cuban tobacco, they are not legal in the US!.
The previous poster is incorrect in recommending getting a humidor to 'save' them because they are dry cured!. That type of cigar is popular in Europe where cigars are taxed based on weight!. They are supposed to be dry and should be smokeable!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
