ABSOLUTELY NOT!. It isn't worth being put in jail if you are caught providing alcohol to a minor!. Imagine if that person were to get in a drunk driving accident and cause injury/death to herself or somebody else!. You would be responsible!.

This could also be a sting operation, where a law enforcement official sends a volunteer teen to solicit your cooperation, then arrests you for doing so!.

Regardless of how you feel about underage alcohol consumption or the drinking age law in the US, it simply isn't worth the risk to you and everybody else involved!. Politely explain this to the teenager - maybe she'll learn a lesson!Www@FoodAQ@Com

It's funny that so many people say "I'd say NO!"!. When I was that age, I never had a problem hanging outside of the convenience store and getting someone older to buy for me!. It's a matter of offering a few bucks, or offering to buy theirs as well!. Before too long, someone will come along that will take the money, or the free beer!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I'd definitely say NO! Buying alcohol for a minor can lead to very serious criminal charges as well as liability lawsuits if the minor happens to get injured or cause an injury to another!.

I actually tried this a long time ago, in a different century!.!.!. The jerk took my money, went in the front door of the bar, then hauled a$$ out the back with my $$$!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

In college I would buy alcohol for the underage girls in my sorority!. Other than that I would never buy any for a teenager!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

I would say I can't risk getting arrested for that!. Then I'd keep walking!. I asked guys to buy for me when I was young though, and they usually did it!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

No way i don't really want to brake the law and well you could become a smart boy so lay off the alcohol!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

The Beerman Sez: Take their money, buy really good beer and walk right past them with it!. What are the little dweebs going to do!? Call the cops!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Charge them interest!. In my day we had to slap on loads of make-up to look older so we could sneak into the pub!. There were no supermarkets selling cheap booze back then!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Tell them to take a hike! Why should I break the law for a kid I don't know!? Let them wait like all the rest of us adults had to!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Errm, it's a felony to do that, punishable by jail time!. Why would anyone risk that for someone they didn't know!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Refuse outright!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

For the right price i would buy it!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

i'd say!.!.!. well Son you are speaking to an off duty police officer!.!.!. where are your parents i'd like a Big Chat with them!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I would say no!. Of course, I work at a liquor store and there is more of a issue with legality than usual!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I have had that happen and I said no!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Laugh and walk away!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I wouldn't buy it but I am glad someone did for me when I was 14!!Www@FoodAQ@Com
