Depends on a couple things!. Mostly, how much spare cash I have, what the weather is like, what my mood is, and what I'll be doing when drinking!.
When I'm broke toward the end of a pay period, nothing beats a case of PBR for $15!.
When I have money, the other factors come in!.
Hot summer day!? A good Pilsner!. In the U!.S!., the best I've had is Schell Pils!.
Drizzly autumn night!? A Porter!. Anything will do!. I haven't had a bad Porter recently!.
Cold winter night by the fire!? A velvety stout!.
I have my "go to" breweries: Full Sail, Laguanitas, Stone, Goose Island, Anderson Valley, He'Brew, Brau Bros!., Rogue !.!.!. and a few more that I keep secret!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

On the beach in the summer, a light, cold beer like Budweiser is good!.
In the winter, stouts are good!.
My all-around beer is Michelob Amber Bock, since it's tasty and available most everywhere!.
Other good beers are Newc Brown Ale, Bass, and Young's Oatmeal Stout!.
I've got half a sixpack of Sam Adams Creamy Stout at home, and it's pretty good!. I might buy it again!.
also, Michelob has 18 or 20 bottle packs out for Christmas, with various styles like Pale Ale, Wheat, Porter, etc!. Those are good for trying different styles at a low cost!. It's good to drink a new beer a couple of times to really try it out!. (I found I didn't care for the wheat beer!.)
