Recommendations for BYOB?!
I was just invited to a BYOB party this weekend and I was wondering if anybody had some suggestions as to what the best thing to bring would be!. I'm looking for quality for price and versatility (i!.e!. good to drink alone or mixed)!. Thank you!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Well definitely the most fun thing to bring would be jello shots!. You can share them with everyone and they are so easy to make!. If you don't have the containers go to a burger king or an iParty and get those paper disposable ketchup cups!. Then buy 2 flavors of Jello and substitute the cold water in the recipe with vodka (you can use the cheapest kind and nobody will know) refrigerate them on a cookie sheet and be the hit of the party!Www@FoodAQ@Com
Sweet Tea Vodka is probobaly my drink of choice right now!. It is fairly inexpensive and it only needs ice!. It is good mixed with lemonade, any kind of tea or even sprite!. It is hard to find in some parts of the world but can be found more frequently in the south!. If you must you can always buy vodka and put 3 teabags per liter and let it sit in the sun all day!. If you want it sweetened you will need to add simple syrup!. This works well with some already flavored vodkas (raspberry especially)Www@FoodAQ@Com
go with a slightly higher grade liquor like disarrono or captain morgan private stock!. both are great on the rocks but can also be mixed!. if you don't want to go that expensive try a hard cider, most people will not think to bring it!. i personally like a drier cider like black thorn or strong bow!. horsby's is also good but a little on the watery side for my taste!. stay away from woodchuck, i find it sickeningly sweet!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
go for the classics - vodka, rum or tequila, but get good quality!. or try something a bit different that is surprisingly good - Southern Comfort!.
