Answers:
Don't freeze beer!. The freezing point of a 5% ethanol solution (eg, beer) is not that much below 32F!. A refrigerator is set to 38F by default, with the maximum temperature being 40F before food will spoil!. Suppose you have 38F beer and you want to get it down to about 30F!. What's the best way!?
I would take a clean bucket, add ice and water and stick the beers in there!.
You can also freeze the glass, if you wish!. Some people don't believe in this (like myself), because the frost inside melts and alters the flavor of the beer!. You didn't have frost before, where'd it come from!? It will be water that tastes like the inside of your freezer!. However, if your freezer smells good and you have a cheap beer, then this won't ruin the flavor anyways!.
With more expensive beers you should go by the style to determine what you want to drink it at!. Very often you do not want it just above freezing!. For example, stouts are best served at 45F, while Belgians are good at 50F!. Basically, the more your beer resembles yellow colored water the colder you want it!. Darker beers get served warmer!. Notice that *no* beers get served at room temperature!. Some people believe that in England they serve beer at room temperature; totally false, no beer is good at room temp!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I put beer in the freezer all the time!.!.!.most of the time because it is not at the desired coldness at the time of purchase!.!.!.!.!.I mostly drink bottle beers!.!.!.!.you can leave bottle beers in a freezer for about 3 hours max!.!.!.!.and even then you might get a beer slushy!.!.!.I usually leave a beer in the freezer for no more than 2 hours just to get it ice cold!.!.!.but, if you leave a bottle beer in the freezer over night, it will most assuredly either leak all over the place, or explode!.!.!.!. it has happened to me EVERY SINGLE TIME I have accidentally left beer in the fridge over night!.!.!.!.!.every time!.!.!.!.cans will bust also if you leave them in for too long!.!.!.the guy who said cans wont explode or they would have a warning on them is incorrect!.!.!.!.I have seen can beers explode in the freezer well over a dozen times, and they are basically the same as bottle beers: if you leave a beer in the freezer for too long, can or bottle it will either leak or most likely explode in your freezer!.!.!.trust me!.!.!.!.I have had to clean out my freezer too many times for me to be exagerating, or telling stories!.!.!.!.have a nice day!.!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
The short concise answer is!.!.
You can freeze it but the following can happen:
1!. Glass bottles may leak condensation through cap and may take hours to thaw!.
2!. Cans can be frozen without issue and the beer will taste the same once completely thawed!.
You can also put any hard liqueur with more than 35% alcohol in the freeze for life and it will never freeze! Because alcohol has a very high freezing point!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

We always put our beer in the freezer especially when we have barbecues and friends round!. Many times a couple get forgotten and they they freeze solid but it is always fine once it thaws out!. Cans can't explode or they would have a warning on the can and the only thing that ever happened with bottled beer is it leaked slightly but because it froze there was no mess!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
A roomate of mine would do that and "super chill" a beer!. After getting a cold beer at the store he'd keep it in the freezer for about 15 minutes!. You might be able to keep it in there longer but that seemed about right!. A few times he forgot + there was Becks all over the frozen pizzas and veggies lolWww@FoodAQ@Com
Okay, here's what you do!. Buy a 12pk- open your beer, when you get to the break in the neck of the bottle, put you one in the freezer!. It should be ready by the time you finish your 1st beer!. I'd say 15 min or so, depending on your freezer!. This will not ruin the taste, it makes it that much more better!!Www@FoodAQ@Com
if i put beer in the freezer, i try not to leave it in for more than an hour!.!. i don't know the temperature or newness of your freezer but i've found if i leave them in for longer than an hour or so they start to get slushy and it does mess with the carbonation!.!. lol, who wants to abuse alcohol like that!?Www@FoodAQ@Com
Well, it could explode!. Why not try this instead!. Store beers in fridge and run a pint glass under cold water and put that in the freezer!. Nice icey pint glass and cold refreshing beer!. : )Www@FoodAQ@Com
Freezing it to where it gets slushy messes up the carbonation and freezing it solid will rupture the can, or pop the top off the bottle!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Leave it in for less than a half hour!. It will freeze and explode if you let it!. I don't think it ruins the taste!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
BEER I LOVE IT COLD, BEER! 8 MINUTES, GIVE ME A COLD BEER! YGDR!Www@FoodAQ@Com
