Question: What does scotch taste like!?
what about gin!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
I once was told that the first drink of Scotch tastes like burnt cork, the second tastes like leather, and after that you'll be a confirmed Scotch drinker for life!. In my experience, it is not in any way sweet, rather like the burnt cork flavor, and it really doesn't mix well with much of anything other than water or soda water (carbonated), although I've actually enjoyed it with Dr!. Pepper!. As for gin, it tastes just like it smells, like a branch off a juniper hedge (a type of evergreen tree or bush)!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Depends on how you have it!.

I love a good scotch on ice!. I allow the ice cubes to melt enough so the volume is doubled in the glass!. The water and scotch blend to make a very smooth drink!.

Imagine if you could taste peat moss on wood!. Sounds gross but it's actually an amazing taste!. It does take practise to enjoy properly but once you get it, you love it!.

Gin however is very different!.

Gin tastes like a very strong, bitter berry backed by very strong Vodka!.
Which pretty much is what Gin is!. A good Gin is very nice!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Gin is flavored with Juniper Berries!.

According to the very famous movie "Mister Roberts", Scotch tastes like Vitalis Hair Oil!.

I love each of them!.
