Hello, after doing some research for you!. It appears as though the brewery, Bell's/Kalamazoo has a very high content beer such as Third Coast Old Ale or Expedition Stout!. Both have a low 10% percent alcohol level!. Other high content is Old Foghorn, Sierra Nevada Bigfoot, Double Bastard Ale!. I personally don't drink beer, I do prefer Sam Adams though myself, the Sam Adams Triple Bock, has a content of about 17!.5%!
Either one you go with, drink safe & don't drink and drive!

It depends on where you live!. Typically, local laws will dictate the highest alcohol content of your beer!.

The afore mentioned Sam Adams Triple Bock is pretty high if you can find it and a bottle will cost you more than double what you are looking to spend!. If you can find a Barley Wine it uses a champagne yeast so it can potentially have a higher alcohol content than the Triple Bock!.

The highest alcohol content beer I have ever personally seen can be found in Germany and is named EKU28!. The 28 refers to the ABV of the beer, about 28% alcohol!. I have no idea how they can get it that high but it must involve a very healthy champagne yeast!. They only sell it in four packs, I've never seen anyone who can finish a four pack of them!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

micro-brewery's are going to have the best selection and a lot of them do bottle and sell their beer!. go to tastings and find the one that is something you like!. most likely a darker beer is going to be good for a winter night!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
