Favorite New York State wine?!
Working on a new blog: www!.TheStateGrape!.com and was wondering if anyone has any favorite New York State wines!. Not too familiar with the Long Island region, but hear they have good reds!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

REDCAT!!!!!! from Hazlitt vineyards, it's an excellent sweet red wine, it's so good it goes down like kool-aid and let me tell you that can be a problem sometimes, lol!. Another good one is Miss Adventurous from Lucas winery, it's a sweet strawberry wine - definitely another one of my favs!. Both are from winerys around the great lakesWww@FoodAQ@Com
Actually, some of the finest Reislings in history have come from the Finger Lakes region!. While there is also a lot of bulk wines produced there, look for whites from some of the smaller vintners, and you will be richly rewarded!. also have been some good muscats from that region in NY!. While devilishly hard to find, the 63 muscat ottonal from Konstantine Franc remains drinkable!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
