okay its not that old but whatever!.!.!. lol Its Jackson & Triggs Proprietors Reserve 2002 Sparkling Wine!.!.!. always been stored in a cellar like condition most of the time!.!.!. question is: Is it still okay to drink!? I know some wines get better with age but is this true with all wines!? Www@FoodAQ@Com
Answers:
Yes it is still okay to drink!. Sparkling wines keep quite well!.
Not all wines get better with age!. There is a very delicate balancing act between all of the flavors in a wine!. Aging introduces some new flavors while others fade!. If the wine was made to age, the ones that fade are extra strong to start with so that the wine will be best in a few years!. Most modestly-priced wines are not made to age!. They taste best right away!.
Wines that weren't cut out for aging start to taste like Sherry after they get old!. But there's nothing really wrong with them!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
