The first rule is to make sure that you've got the right drink for the right cigar!.
If your cigar is full-bodied (for example, most Camacho cigars or full-bodied Cubans), go for something strong like Whiskey (I'd recommend Glenlivet) or Cognac (no need to spend money on XO here, VSOP will perfectly do)!.
If your cigar is medium-bodied, I'd go with red wine!. You can get amazing combinations here!. Hard to recommend a particular wine, you have to go out and try different bottles!.
Finally, if your cigar is rather mild, I'd stick with water or perhaps coffee with milk!.
And of course don't forget that a mojito will pair up with almost any cigar :) That's my favorite cocktail!.
Enjoy! Www@FoodAQ@Com

I only smoke a cigar if it is worth it!. The only ones that aquire my taste are Romeo and Julietta and Cohiba!. Combine it with a single malt (island or highland) for a bold taste with a smokey overtone and you will have the best hour of your life!.
For highland scotch , i go for Glenfiddich, Glenlivet!.
For islands scotch: I recommend "LAGAVULIN" (my fav), bowmore (really good pick), aberlour or Talisker!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
