Australian wines are great, full big bold flavors!. Of the two, I'd probably reach for the classic Kalimna, for it's rich, lush, intense fruit and American oak accents!. IO think this is a better sipping wine!.
If I were eating something peppery, somewhat spicy - I'd go for the the zesty, spicy Coonawarra, aged in French oak barrels!. It reminds me a lot of Rancho Zabaco Zinfandel - kind of peppery - and great with pasta arrabiata!.
So it comes down to your preference and food pairing!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I agree with the above poster have you ever had Pinot Noir it tastes amazing!. However, to answer your question I would need more information such as what are you eating along with the wine!. Chicken, beef, lamb, mushrooms and how is it cooked!. Different types of food go great with different wines you just have to match!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
Taste them both and make up your own mind!.
As far as pinot noir, I find it overrated and not full bodied the way I like my wines!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
