I think my husband drinks too much?!
I looked online to see how to tell if a loved one is an alcoholic and he doesn't apply to any of them except the amount he drinks!.
He drinks about a case of beer (12 bottles) everyday but he never seems drunk!. Hes not abusive and he doesn't show any physical signs of drinking a lot (like a beer belly)!. He's doing fine at work and even gets raises when the time comes!. We have plenty of money to support his drinking but I'm still worried!. What can and should I do!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Sounds like he what is called a functional alcoholic!. First thing you should do is discuss your concerns with him!. By discuss, I of course do not mean berate him or nag at him!. Sit him down and let him know that you are concerned about his health and that you are worried that he might be an alcoholic!. Suggest the two of you go into counseling together!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
The only way to find out if he has liver problems is to get an all around blood test from your family doctor!. Then you can set restrictions for him if there are abnormalities in his liver!.

He is definitely alcoholic normal male would drink 1 to 2 beers a day maybe 3 that's would be normal but not 12!!!! You definitely should go to a doctor with him and check his body plus ask professionals so they tell him how much he can drink plus he should know him self if you care a little bit about your husband stop asking for advices and do something go to a doctor do something!!!!!! 12 beers per day its not normal!!!!!!!!!!!!!Www@FoodAQ@Com
he could be on automatic meaning doing normal things while under the influence of alcohol and not knowing your actually doing them ,get him off that stuff as quickly as possible if he continues drinking like that and ends in the hospital and wakes up the next day sober,there's a big chance he might not know who you are Www@FoodAQ@Com
12 bottles of 330ml beer is same as 3-4 glasses (normal bar) whiskey!.If he had a hard work or work hard in home and if eat something with beers you must do not worry !.Www@FoodAQ@Com
