Question: What is the fascination about Guinness Extra Stout!?

It is just a personal preference!. The dark beers are a bit bitter but many people like that dark bold strong flavor!. I do I love a good strong beer!. I like the flavor as I sip it and the taste lingers a bit!. The light beers have no flavor or taste for me!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

When it comes to Guinness, I'd much rather have a Guinness Draught, in the bottle or the can with the little nitrogen ball!. Unless of course, I'm out pubbin'!. I like dark beers, in fact, many kinds of beers, but!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.
I'm not fond of Extra Stout > insert bitter beer face here <!.

Guinness Draught on tap, with it's mysterious flowing bubbles and creamy intoxicating head, or in the form of a black and tan, is quite captivating!.

I have always loved bold beers but the first time I tried a Guinness Stout, I really didn't enjoy it!. It was too bitter and way too strong!. But the taste stuck with me and I kept thinking about it!. A couple of months later, I decided to try it again!. I was actually able to enjoy it but it was still too strong!. But I kept coming back to it!. It is definitely an acquired taste as now, I love them!. kwWww@FoodAQ@Com

Beer drinking is like anything else that you do!. Sometimes you will like and enjoy a specific type of product and other times you don't!. I think that the phenomena that you are referring to is born from the people that you are partying with!. I just happen to hate the thick dark beers but others may enjoy them!.
