Sweet, white wine- what could I have drank?!
I went to this dinner last night for work at a very upscale restaurant for the midwest!. The wine server noticed I was very busy getting people signed in and he brought over a glass of white wine that was amazing!. It didn't taste like any white wine I had ever tasted- it was very sweet like apples and grapes and pears all put together and almost champagne-like in its bubbliness!. It was clear to pale yellow in color!. He told me what it was but I was in a rush and I forgot the name!. What could he have given me!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

That's a tough call!.!.!.!.It could be a local wine, or could be a international wine!.
I have found most German wines will take on these types of characteristics, however, not so much with the effervescence!.
You can go to a wine shop and try a nice Washington State Riesling, as well!. (Pale, straw color, nice fruit tones!.!.!.)
Enjoy!Www@FoodAQ@Com
