I like to enjoy the occasional Blind Russian- so I dont always use Baileys because it can be a little pricey!. I find that a brand called Emmets works just fine for me in the cocktails!. (It is also a third of the price) I have tried a few different brands, and Emmets is my second fav (behind Bailey's)!. However, if I am going to drink irish cream straight or on the rocks, I reach for the Baileys!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Starbucks has a cream liquour but it is not Irish!. When you drink Bailey's straight or on the rocks you get a little burn in the back of your throat (which comes from the irish whisky)
However, Starbucks taste similar to baileys except it is made with real Starbucks coffee and the spirit is actually rum which makes it a little sweeter(so no burn when you drink it straight)

Carolan's is the most popular brand of Irish Cream in Ireland!. It is cheaper than Baily's here in the States but I prefer the taste of Bailey's over Carolan's!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
O'Darby's is another brand of Irish Cream!. I find it tastes almost identical to Bailey's but it's half the price!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
