I don't mind a squeeze of fresh lime, but salt is for rookies and/or nasty tequila and doesn't have a place when drinking good tequila!.
Depending on my mood, what tequila I'm drinking and whether it's cold outside, I might sip the shot neat, have it on the rocks, or get it chilled!.
Generally speaking, the better the tequila, the less I alter it!.

I drink expensive tequila!. So, using salt and lime would ruin it!. I also don't take the shot all at once!. I sip it!. Good tequila is really quite tasty!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
