Keeping Keg Beer from going flat?!

Question: Keeping Keg Beer from going flat!?
I had a keg given to me, it has not been tapped yet!. There is only going to be 3 of us drinking from it though so there will be plenty left over!. Is there anyway to save this beer and keep it from going flat!? If the tap is left on it and it is put in a refrigerator will it stay fresh!? If so, how long!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Even if you keep a tap on it it can go flat!. Depends on the pressure you keep in your keg!. Remember carbonation level depends on the amount of CO2 dissolved in the liquid!. If it's a mini keg, you'll be fine as long as it's a few days!. Pony's and full kegs you really need a CO2 regulator!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

As long as you keep the tap in place and the keg refrigerated, the beer will last quite a long time (a couple of months!?)!. If you remove the beer and try to store it in some other container, it will go flat and stale very soon!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

If you have a proper tapping system with regulators and CO2 tank the pressure can be easily regulated to keep your beer carbonated!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Just drink it real quick !!!!!!Www@FoodAQ@Com
