Take it like a man right away, I mean chug it down, then when you get enough in you its like you don't care anymore!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Respectfully decline the wine!. Wine can give some people heartburn and it looks like you fit this category!. A 15 year old should not be in the positon of being offered wine in the first place!. It is against the law!.

Something your mother may not know is when red wine is opened it will start oxidizing and will be more acidic causing heartburn and is less palatable!. Once red wine is opened the left over should be refrigerated to prevent oxidation!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I feel as though if you parents had your best interests in mind, then it would simply be and issue of your welfare!. If not for the fact that you're 16 years old, perhaps because it causes you to feel ill!. It seems as though, at least from what you write, that they're basically exploiting you to improve the way people's opinion of her!. Maybe you could try explaining how it effects you fully to her!.

Hope this helps!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Talk about peer pressure from your mom!. Explain to her how you feel and see if she will let you have grape juice in your wine glass!. No offense but I am shocked your mom is forcing you to drink at the age of 16!. You have the law on your side!. It is illegal for you to drink before you are 21, even in your own home!. Your mom can be charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You have to refuse to drink it!. Tell her to respect your wishes and don't drink it!. Gosh! You're only sixteen and to tell you the truth, my stomach burns, too!. Have fun tomorrow and refuse to drink it!. Or, you can just let it sit in youir glass and pretend to sip it!. They may not notice!. Good Luck!Www@FoodAQ@Com

If I were in your situation, I would promptly gulp down my wine a soon as it is placed in front of me!. And then I would just as promptly spew my stomach contents all over the Thanksgiving table!. You may find yourself in hot water, but you will never be forced to drink at family gatherings again!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Sip it slowly!.

As an Italian myself, meals are taken slowly, and wine drinking should be no exception!. If you drink it a bit slower it shouldn't affect you quite as much and should allow the food to mix in with it!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Refuse!

They may be dissapointed, hopefully not disrespected, but if you can't take it, you can't take it!.

Good luck, sweetie :)Www@FoodAQ@Com

Politely refuse!.
If she asks why explain to her and elaborate as much as you feel is necssary!.
And if she doesn't, hopefully she will understand!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Drink enough of it and all the pain will go away!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I like "chug it like a man"! and "don't be a pussy" comes in a close second!Www@FoodAQ@Com

just dont be a pussyWww@FoodAQ@Com
