Question: I would really like to drink more beer and spend a little less; any ideas!?
Answers:
Drink at home!. Stay out of the bar!. Never buy beer at sporting events or concerts, it's as much as 10 times the price in the liquor store!.
Make your own!. Buying the supplies and ingredients is more expensive than buying beer!. However, once you own the supplies you can make your own for less than buying it, as long as you don't try especially fancy recipes!. Some recipes will be significantly more expensive than buying beer!.
If you have an Aldi store where you live that sells beer (some do) try it!. It's actually pretty good, rates quite well in beer aficionado forums, and is very affordable!.
Drink beer that tastes better!. If you drink stuff like Bud, Miller, or Coors, try moving up in quality!. Premium beers tend to cost a little more, but they taste better, way better, and are more satisfying, so you drink less of them!.
If you're just drinking to get loaded don't drink beer!. Have some Cisco wine, cheap vodka, and so on!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Buy some decent tonic water and some cheap vodka!. For every glass of beer mix in equal amount of beer and tonic water and add a little vodka for the kick!. It will taste amazing!

I don't recommend fermenting your beer because that can get dangerous, but the vodka and tonic water mixing is relatively safe if you keep your vodka level down to 10% or less of the mix!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Brewing your own isn't as cheap as drinking rice-crap (American commercial beer)!. But you can cut your cost in half - mix your cheap beer 50/50 with water!. It's like making lawnmower beer!.

Or homebrew applejack, or whatever fruit is cheap in season!. Fruit + sugar + water + yeast = alcohol!. (If you drink the cheapest beer you can get, you can't be worried about taste!.)Www@FoodAQ@Com

When you order a drink at the bar, put a piece of food or hair in it halfway through!. Tell the bartender there is something gross in your beer and you want another one!. Repeat this processes at different bars throughout the night!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I would say start brewing your own!. There is an initial investment for equipment, but it is somewhat cheaper than buying microbrews, but with the same quality!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
