Well, both my ex-Boyfriend and father are alcoholics!. And I think that they always have had a problem with alcohol!. For one, a person who is an alcoholic often has a very addictive personality - meaning that they can't stop doing something when they enjoy the results!. Secondly, there are many emotional factors that go into alcoholism - such as an abusive past, undetected mental distorder, or low-self esteem!. There is a variety of factors that can contribute to alcoholism!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I think you might want to move this question to a more appropriate place!. This sounds more psychological than for here!.
My answer to it would be depressed, bipolar, possibly just fine!.
Alcoholism and other addictions are weird, they are not totally predictable!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I'm a nurse and most of my patients before in Psych were Alcoholics, most of them were depressed and having low-self esteem!. Others are alcoholics coz they just want to drink and get drunk without any reason!. It depends on the person!. ^_^Www@FoodAQ@Com

From personal experience, an alcoholic is a normal person, showing no signs of trouble or addiction!. Sadly, they can have even the closest people to them fooled!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
