Answers:
Smirnoff ice are mixed drinks, containing smirnoff vodka, and other things, and are about 8 proof alcohol, or 4%, like beer!. Smirnoff in large bottles is normally the straight vodka, without any mixers, and they are about 80 proof, or 40% alcohol, like rocket fuel!. They may even make flavored vodka, but you'll have to mix the stuff with something else, otherwise it'll just taste like fire!. Good for shots, but not exactly delicious!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Smirnoff Ice is a 5!.5% alcohol by volume malt beverage (or simply put, kind of like a gussied-up Schlitz with a citrus flavor)!. It may also be available as a triple black variety from what I understand!.

Availability of larger packages might not be a likely thing unfortunately!. For an example a heavy backlash against malt liquors with alcohol levels as high as 8!.0% with flavors and 'energy' components such as herbal ingredients and even caffeine marketed as sports drinks occurred in the justice departments of several US states, leading to legal actions and removal of the products by agreement of the manufacturers!.

This controversy is not about the flavor but alcohol contents and the notion they were confusing to younger persons and store clerks!. Still the increasing vigilance against alcohol abuse and DUI might suggest a liability dilemma to the Smirnoff makers!.

Please note the nearly every alcoholic beverage associated with 'wine coolers' is in fact a malt beverage and the trend occurred many years ago!. Alcohol by volume of 3-5!.5% fall within the range of many popular beers and tend to be accepted whereas fortified wine (common brands: Night Train, MD 20/20--'Mad Dog' is a slang name and Thunderbird) comes in small bottles yet isn't commonly associated with users that drive!.!.!.these were and the false notion that they were healthier was troublesome!.

By the way, vodka is nothing like malt liquor!. It can be, in the Smirnoff case 80 proof (37!.5% by volume) to 100 proof (getting toward 50%)!. It will kick your pants but good by the bottle!.

If you drink alcohol solely for the taste you are missing an important bit of information!. You might need to assess how you use and deal with alcohol!. Even if you aren't at risk of addiction the alcohol content of bottled product and bar drinks is essential!. Drink responsibly and use a designated driver when you decide to drink at an establishment!.

Smirnoff Ice Raspberry is a beer with all the awesome beer taste removed and replaced with sugar and flavor syrup!. Raspberry-flavored Smirnoff Vodka is a low shelf 80-proof vodka with a flavor syrup added, Besides tasting like crap, they have nothing in common!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Absolutely!. Rasberry smirnoff ice has about 4% alcohol and regular smirnoff vodka has 40%!. Do you want to get drunk or get your gf drunk!? Thats the question!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
