I heard it does!. Something about needing to be absorbed through the stomach, but it'll end up in your blood either way won't it!? I'm not sure if that particular rumour is true, but if it is, why is taking alcohol IV fatal!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Injecting alcohol in very small quantities won't kill you, but it is much MUCH easier to get alcohol poisoning this way!. It is not necessary for alcohol to be absorbed through the stomach, it's just a good idea so that you can moderate yourself more easily (eat more, drink some water, etc)!.
