Should I have felt more drunk or was this normal?!

Question: Should I have felt more drunk or was this normal!?
I just drank for the first time and I didn't have too much because I didn't want to get wasted or anything and make a fool of myself!. I had 3 shots or maybe 4 tops in like 30 minutes or so and I felt almost nothing and I could walk in a straight line one foot after another and everything!. I am a 17 year old girl and 5'4" and 140 pounds!. Please none of that no you shouldn't drink at all!. I wouldn't even think of driving after drinking anything!. I'm just curious if it was normal that I just felt no more than the slightest buzz after 3-4 shots of vodka!. I think it was 40% alcohol or if you normally need more to get drunk if it you are my height/weight/gender and you don't normally drink!. Thanks!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
each person is different!. i'm about the same as you are, a little smaller!. my first time i was "drunk" i had 2 or 3 shots and i was cool!. when you start drinking more and more alcohol your tolerance goes up!. now i can drink about seven shots and be drunk!. even when i'm drunk i can still have conversations and walk in a straight line!. its when you're really really drunk when you fall over and stuff like that!.

Was it straight vodka!? If so, then yes, you should have felt more drunk!. If it was mixed, it could have just been made very weak!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

3 oz( 3 shots) of 80 proof isn't much at all!. %$ shots likely will be too much though, so BE CAREFUL drinking!!!! Too much can stop your heartWww@FoodAQ@Com

Eh shots are overrated!. I only feel drunk when I drink beers as i'm taking shots!. If you drink only shots it takes a lot of them!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
