common wisdom says "it's fine", but ever since we found out that some plastics are not even safe for water, I stick to my old habit: alcohol in glass or stainless steel (besides a wooden cask)Www@FoodAQ@Com

I don't know, but I think there are some kind of plastics that are worse than others, and storing acidic foods in them is a problem!. There are also some plastics lining canned foods!.
Regarding alcohol, I wonder about those boxes holding a plastic bag filled with wine that you put in the fridge!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
