Is it true that, if you drink alcohol through a straw you become more drunk?!

Well, technically a straw doesn't increase the alcohol content in a drink, but using a straw definitely can affect the rate at which you feel the alcohol hit your system in some cases!. When it comes to beer, there is absolutely nothing a straw can do for you, BUT when it comes to a mixed drink, a straw makes a difference!. When you mix alcohol with a balancer, the liqueur always sinks down to the bottom of the glass because the density of it is usually higher!. Therefore, if you are drinking it through a straw, you are drinking from the bottom up, so you are consuming most of the actual alcohol within the first few sips!. That's why you feel "drunk," before you finish your drink!.

actually yes because if you drink through a straw, there's no oxygen going into your mouth, it's just the straw and the alcohol, and the room that the oxygen normally takes up in your mouth is replaces with more alcohol, and you get drunk quicker!.!.!.!. and I hope this makes sense but I know because i've done it before!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
