Taking advantage of a drunk girl? (or a drunk guy)?!
I was talking to a friend of mine (who's also a girl)
And we kinda got in a bit of an argument about this topic!.
She's a VERY feminist girl, and I'm the total opposite!.
To me, it's the girls fault for getting drunk!.
She's the one who chose to drink, she's the one who
chose to get drunk, and she's the one who decided to
have sex with a guy!.
(if she was passed out at the time, then that's totally rape!.
but I'm just talking about being drunk)
Yes her thinking is a little off at the time, and that effects
her decision making, But the guy thats sleeping with her
didn't make her drink, didn't make her get drunk, didn't
make her decide to have sex!.
She chose to put her self in that situation by letting herslef

So , I guess you are saying if you choose to go out late one night by yourself and get raped , It's your fault and not the rapists!? Talk about blame the Victim!. This reminds me of a cases a few years ago of a bunch of jocks who were charged with statutory rape for having sex with a mentally disabled girl!. I doesn't matter if she consents , because she is not fit to consent!. what about if you are so drunk you black out (but are still conscious, just cant remember what you did) and you dont remember a damn thing!? Does that count!?

If they're both drunk, then yeah who cares!?
But I think it's kinda wrong to sleep with someone if they are drunk and you are sober, just because you KNOW they would probably not normally do it sober, and therefore you could prevent them from doing something they regret!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Legally, taking advantage of a drunk is considered rape!. What I don't know is whether the charge can be pressed if both parties were drunk!. Can you have two-way rape under these circumstances!?
I'm afraid that I'd be challenged for cause before being empaneled for a jury on a rape case involving drinking!. I'm with you on this!. Why should women be treated differently from men when they get drunk!? Can they claim that crashing their cars is not their fault because they were drunk!?
