Answers:
Sorry, but if your friend is used to real beer, then New Grist will just taste nasty!. They tried though, god bless 'em!. But it may be ok for someone who doesn't know what sorghum beer, or any beer at that, is supposed to taste like!.

Redbridge tastes like a budwiser!. If he likes the taste of a generic american beer, then that is what he wants to try first!. The plus side is that this is readily available and the least expensive of all the gf beers!.
Bard's Tale is def!. a step up from this!. I love it, personally, and the ABV ain't bad either, lol! This is probably the best American made gf beer:

Dragon's Gold is my fav!. from this brewery!.
Then there is the best of gf brewing, and that would be Greens!. The dubble and amber may be a bit rich for someone who isn't used to those, but the ale may be just what he has been missing! The tripel (its a blonde beer) may be what he should start with!. Warning, it is a belgium microbrew, and has the price to match it, but is worth every penny! and with those ABV's transportation needs to be planned ahead! Go here:

Toleration Ale is very sweet and kind of citrus-y!. I am not sure I would start with that for gf exploration!. It is ok, but I like it as a summer beer and usually with salad, fish, and fruit!.!.!. and only if I have to!. Go here:

Hope this helps!. I was a microbrew junkie before I was diagnosed with celiac myself, so I tend to be very picky about my gf beers! lol!Www@FoodAQ@Com
