Why does my face turn red when I drink mixed drinks but does not when I drink wine or beer?!

Question: Why does my face turn red when I drink mixed drinks but does not when I drink wine or beer!?
Answers:
Alcohol in general dilates the blood vessels near the skin, making it red!. But beer has a lot of carbs so maybe a lot of blood gets diverted to your digestive system

Nothing scientific or medical!.!.!. just my guess!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Maybe the little umbrellas embarrass you, or may be it's just the increased alcohol content!. an average mixed drink has better than 20 % alcohol!. Most beers are about 7% or less, and most wines are under 17%, and usually sipped, not slurped!. It could also be the sugar if you mix sweet drinks!. Experiment!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
