Saul, let me ask you this, are you drinking to be cool, or to deal with issues with your mom!? Sounds to me as if you are doing both, bad combination!. Your mom sees your friends as people that are leading you down a dangerous path, a no win path!. Drinkers and drug users almost always stick together!. Ya know what, they both end up in rehab, or arrested!. Not the kind of life your mom wants for you!. Go find a counselor your mom and you can see together, work out your issues, and then if you still see that desire to drink, instead of getting drunk, ask yourself who are you doing this for and what will it get you in the end!?
