How dangerous is it to drink 3/4's litre of whisky in one sitting?!


Question: How dangerous is it to drink 3/4's litre of whisky in one sitting!?
My other half has a tendency to drink to excess!. He's not an alcoholic, but he binges when he does have a drink!. Last night, (and on previous occasions) he drank 3/4's of a litre bottle of Bell's whisky!. He was still standing, and he didn't throw up or anything, but what sort of damage is it doing to his internal organs!?Www@FoodAQ@Com


Answers:
Unless he's doing it more than about twice a week it will do him no harm to his body as long as he lays off it for a few days to give the liver a chance to repair itself!.

What could be dodgy is the way he acts when he's drunk, eg- being aggressive, or doing things that he would'nt normally do!.

People have massively different tolerances when it comes to alcohol and the government does scaremonger a bit when it comes to this, imo!.

For a kick off he should be drinking better whiskey!.

I don't feel it will be doing him harm and I doubt he'll get preggers or mugged in your front room, but you should consider this as a possible risk!

I think the question should be : why!?

Binge drinking is a bit like smoking a pack of cigarettes!. One big problem could be that he becomes an alcoholic!. Regardless of if he's drunk or not he is still going to be majorly damaging his liver!Www@FoodAQ@Com

By any definition he's an alcoholic! Get some help!
