I have a opened bottle of sake in my fridge from almost 10 years ago...will sake go bad?!
Answers:
Unlike wine, sake doesn't age well - though some age better than others!. The Japanese have different names for aged sake, or koshu, based on the the number of years it's been aged!.
Sake is very different from liquor and isn't eternally drinkable - like a bottle of rum!. It changes with time (oxidizes), especially if opened like yours is!.
Most sake is pasteurized, so it stays fresh for a longer period after it is opened!. But ten years is a long time to be opened!. If it's not pasteurized, I wouldn't expect much in terms of great flavor, but it won't make you sick!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Oh, definitely!. But I'll tell you what!. Since you're my friend!. I'll TAKE that bottle of sake off your hands!. Just have it sent FedEx and that'll be it!. You'll have to pay the freight, of course!.
