Answers:
Rum is the most traditional and I would prob use Capt Morgan or other spiced rum!. Nog means rum in older English!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Rum, Bourbon, Cognac, Kahlua would be super tasty!. You can get a bottle of Captain Morgans Spiced Rum at a reasonable price, Bacardi as well!. Check out the link in my Resources and it'll have some good Eggnog Recipes and alcohol you can add to it!. =)

I like a nice dark rum (I'd recommend the El Dorado 5 year old Demerara sugar rum) mixed with my nog, on the rocks!.
