What should my homebrew gravity be?!

Question: What should my homebrew gravity be!?
I have made a draught beer homebrew!. The original gravity was 1044, and now 5 days later the gravity has read 1010 for two days!. Yesterday I gave everything a swirl around, but it hasn't gone down today!. What should the final gravity be before I bottle!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
When brewing with extract, your final gravity is generally a quarter of your starting gravity!. You've reached final gravity!. Congrats!

Let it sit for a few days so the beer will settle out and then bottle!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Currently your brew is 4!.5% of alcohol by volume!. To determine this, you take the original specific gravity and subtract the terminal specific gravity and then divide that by 7!.5!. 1044 - 1010 = 34!. 34/7!.5 = 4!.5333!.!.!. It is ready to bottle if that is around what you wanted for that particular style of beer!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

The FG should be whatever it is when it stops changing for 2-3 days!. You're ready to bottle or keg!. Check a book that includes style specifications to see whether or not you've met them!. (If not, drink it anyway; it's all good!.)Www@FoodAQ@Com

I think from memory, 1010 to 1012 is good!.

Can anyone confirm this!?Www@FoodAQ@Com
