Question: Is it true that in Texas you can drink in a restaurant if a person of age is with you!?
Answers:
The other person MUST be a parent or legal guardian who is in the "visible presence" of the minor!. However, that same parent or guardian can not purchase alcohol for the minor's friends!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

They have to be your parent or gaurdian!. But if a parent or legal guardian takes you out they CAN buy you alcohol to drink there in public!.
My mom used to take me and I could have a couple drinks when I was younger!.
But someone in your family could take you, some places were a little more on holding it to the rules of making it be your parent or legal guardian, but yes, they could take you out and buy you alcohol!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
