What's the difference between tipsy, buzzed, and drunk?!

Question: What's the difference between tipsy, buzzed, and drunk!?
When I drink, I drink to the point where I'm warm, can't stop laughing, and can barely walk!. Everything is in slow motion, I feel like i have somewhat control, like I don't care about how I'm acting but I don't do anything extreme like get naked or tell people things that I shouldn't!. I start to get a little headache and then fall asleep and wake up feelign woozy but without a headache!.

Its long, but what I'm asking is: is this being tipsy, buzzed, drunk, or what!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
That is called being drunk!.

Sober
Buzzed
Tipsy
Drunk
Wasted / Destroyed / Annihilated / Smashed / Gone

Basically buzzed is that slight feeling you get where you know that you are no longer sober, but you're still functional!. In terms of BAC, this is between 0!.04% and 0!.08%!.

Tipsy is when you are more than buzzed; your face is warm, you're relaxed and loose!. You may have problems with motor function, but you are not severely impaired!. BACs are harder to nail down, but roughly 0!.06% to 0!.12%!. Contrary to popular belief, tipsy people do not "tip over!." If you fall over while drinking, it is because you are drunk or wasted!.

Drunk is when you can't control certain things (laughing, for example)!. Your reactions are overly emotional and unneccessary (everything is funny, or everything is sad)!. You may do abnormal things, such as hugging your friends (especially if you are a guy hugging a guy), but you don't have to do things out of the ordinary to be drunk!. Motor function is noticeably impaired (cannot walk straight, falls down)!. You are also numb to pain (hitting your head on the wall doesn't phase you)!. Tracking time becomes more difficult, often surprised at what time it really is!. In terms of BAC this is roughly 0!.11% to 0!.20%!. The lower end is harder, since some people may pretend to be more drunk than they are (called "alcohol expectations" where they expect the drink to affect them so they behave accordingly)!.

Wasted, is of course, impossible to not notice!. People have no control over many things, especially walking and what they say!. Very likely to hurt themselves in a humiliating and bizarre way!. Liable to vomit, and guaranteed to have a hangover!. At risk of passing out!. Time is severely affected!. Blackouts likely!. BAC over 0!.18%!. Above 0!.30% the risk of coma becomes significant!. Sounds like fun at the time, you will quickly learn this is not fun!.

Check out www!.rupissed!.com -- type in your weight (its in kg; converter at bottom), height (in cm!), what you drank and how long you drank!. It'll come up with a pretty decent estimate of your BAC!. It has a tendency to overestimate, since its metabolic rate is lower than what I have estimated to be the mean rate in humans from scientific journals I have read on the matter!. (Specifically, the site uses a rate of 7g/hr, whereas studies have shown 11g/hr is more acceptable)!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

What you described is drunk!. Buzzed comes before tipsy, it's when you just start to feel the effects, it can be one beer or 2 or 3, your eyes have trouble focusing mostly, not physical effects!. Tipsy is when you become legally drunk, you start to have trouble with physical coordination and start to have mental effects!. Drunk is all the above with euphony, and depending on who you are, can be either retarted and extremely happy or!.!.!.extremely talkative and happy!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Tipsy is well, tipsy! you feel like you're about to tip over!. buzzed is when you've been drinking and are beginning to get drunk!. And drunk, you should know what that is!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

What you're describing is being very drunk!. "Tipsy" or "buzzed" are when you start feeling relaxed but aren't that drunk yet!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

The same as the difference between Larry, Moe, and Curly!. Same idiot, just with different haircuts!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
